Woohoo, Finally!!!

Well, my leg has finally begun to feel better that I've been able to return to my sewing room! Woohoo!!!

I've been sewing up a storm...a craft show this Sat. and I wanted to have "fall" items and some new "children" things ready.

A few reminders...

1. My Xmas in July sales (on all 3 of my sites) end Friday, July 31st. My personal website and Artfire have all items already marked down 10%. Etsy will be refunded through Paypal (immediately upon receipt of payment).

I always have free shipping (no minimum purchase necessary) and usually ship within a day.

Also, with every $100 purchase, receive a FREE Original Market Bag (choose from any listed on the sites). That's a $14.95 value (regular price)!!!

ALL items are listed on my personal site. Most are on Artfire. Once items have expired on Etsy, I don't relist them.

2. Also ending July 31st are the contests on each of my blogs. To enter just comment on any post (max. 3 comments). Now through Friday, I'm offering double entry for each comment. So, if you comment 3 times, you GET 6 entries!

Prizes are different on each blog and are pictured. Winners will be announced/notified on Saturday, August 1st. Prizes will be mailed as soon as I receive addresses.

3. Starting late Saturday afternoon, I'll be adding lots and lots and LOTS of new things. Fall themed, Halloween, some Christmas and new Children's Items.

My popular pocket wallets will also be added to my personal site and Artfire. I haven't had the time to sit and list all of them. A couple of dozen (made with different fabrics)...for women, men, girls, and boys....will be added, too.

4. Finally, a great guild contest ends tomorrow (Thursday), July 30th.

Find "Waldo" in the participating shops and email your answers to the address provided. The ADORABLE prize is pictured along with a link to the sponsors shop.

There's even a post that list shops that are currently running sales. A post with shop blogs.

Show and Tell...

I thought I'd do a "show and tell" today.

These are pictures of my shower curtain that I made.

I had a bunch of left over blocks...2 very large and completed blocks with stars as the centers and a bunch of just "floating" stars.

I love country/primitive colors and it's a good snapshot into how my house is also decorated. lol lol lol

I made the tops "ties" and just tied it to the shower rod. This is one of my favorite pieces of all time.

Shanti Seeds of Bali on Artfire - Featured Artisan

The "Shanti Seeds of Bali" shop is owned by the Badung, Bali village residents.

The villagers take part in handcrafting the seed baskets. Baskets come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and styles.

Your own basket can be customed made in your choice of colors, shape, and design.

Each handcrafted basket is made with size 11 glass seed beads with a 2 drop Peyote stitch technique. Now, I don't KNOW what that entirely means but the baskets are simply stunning!!
